Novotechnik U.S.'s LFP Membrane Potentiometer

It operates using a screw-style pin attached to an application, and runs across the membrane connecting a sensing track to a conductive ink track printed on a substrate.

For applications that require a linear-position-sensing device in a narrow space, LFP membrane potentiometer provides linearity to ±0.3% and life of more than 25 million cycles. It operates using a screw-style pin attached to an application, and runs across the membrane connecting a sensing track to a conductive ink track printed on a substrate through the applied pressure from the pin. As the pin moves across the membrane, the resistance monitored at the attached connector plug changes, corresponding to the position of the pin.
