This universal panel meter (UPM) can function as both a DPM and a counter/timer for a variety of applications. As a DPM, the series offers more than 30 analog input signals. As a counter/timer, it can provide a host of functions, including as a scientific controller-display, process PID controller, forecasting center, scrolling message display and process automation controller. It offers high reliability through automatic alpha-numeric tricolor display and input signal fail detection with runtime stamp, relays, isolated 4-20mA retransmission and universal power inputs. The series can be powered externally or by the signal that it measures (such as analogs) as well as by current loop power technology.
