72% of Survey Respondents Say Their Remote/Distributed I/O Is Cabinet Mount

An electronic survey of Control Design readers was conducted in June 2013 in order to identify usage and application trends of I/O and terminal blocks among the industrial machine builders that comprise Control Design's readership.

Survey respondents that used some remote indicated that 72% of their remote/distributed I/O was cabinet mount, 14% IP67 machine mount, 11% IP20 machine mount.
