Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo canceled

April 8, 2020
Next year's show will next be held as scheduled on May 12 and 13, 2021

Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo has cancelled its 2020 Event, originally scheduled for May 13 and 14 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The organization cites the World Health Organization redefining the coronavirus outbreak as a pandemic on March 11 as well as US air travel restrictions from Europe, China and other countries as the main reasons. EWPTE also cites the increasing number of companies instituting travel bans and restrictions as well as infectious disease experts warning against large gatherings of people. The Wisconsin Governor has also imposed additional policies during the outbreak.

EWPTE says this action was taken out of concerns received for attendees. The advisory board along with the Wisconsin Center District believes that cancellation of the event is in everyone’s best interest.

The organization reminds ticket holders that hotel rooms will not be cancelled automatically and individuals will need to contact the hotel directly to cancel overnight accommodations.

EWPTE 2021 will next be held as scheduled on May 12 and 13, 2021, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

If one is registered to attend the 2020 EWPTE, the organization will hold your registration for next year's show.
