According to the company, the partnership with the third largest forklift manufacturer in the world stems from an understanding that logistics is a key differentiator for the material handling industry
Vecna Robotics announced an expansion of their partnership with UniCarriers Americas (UCA), part of the Mitsubishi Logisnext family companies - the third largest forklift manufacturer in the world. Through this partnership, UniCarriers will manufacture and promote their pallet jacks running Vecna Robotics’ Pivotal automation software.
UniCarriers’ Marengo, Illinois operation employsa team of more than 350 skilled professionals and a half-million square-foot manufacturing facility. Vecna Robotics is also working with UCA to leverage UniCarriers’ Authorized Dealer network of 125 Dealers throughout the Americas.
"It is clear that logistics is no longer a cost center for the material handling industry; it is the differentiator," said Daniel Theobald, founder and CEO of Vecna Robotics. "Our partnership with UniCarriers America allows our customers to quickly expand their use of automation solutions in order to satisfy the customer expectations for faster delivery."
UniCarriers will promote Vecna Robotics AMRs to their national accounts.
