The business will be integrated into its industrial cybersecurity group

Honeywell has completed its acquisition of Nextnine, which was announced last month. Nextnine is a privately held provider of industrial cybersecurity solutions. The business will be integrated into Honeywell’s industrial cybersecurity group.

“The addition of Nextnine’s technologies and talented employees enhances Honeywell’s position to deliver enterprise-wide, end-to-end industrial cyber security solutions that reduce cybersecurity risks, improve reliability, increase productivity and lower cost of operations to our combined customer base,” said Jeff Zindel, vice president and general manager of Honeywell’s industrial cybersecurity business unit.

According to Honeywell, the acquisition will create scalable enterprise-wide deployments with cybersecurity management for multi-site, multi-vendor industrial control system (ICS) environments.

Nextnine customers and partners will continue to receive full, continued support and services.
