CAN in Automation appoints new CEO

Reiner Zitzmann will jointly manage with Holger Zeltwanger until Zeltwanger retires.
Reiner Zitzmann has been appointed CEO of CAN in Automation (CiA) GmbH. Zitzmann will jointly manage with Holger Zeltwanger for about one year until Zeltwanger retires. Zitzmann has worked since 2004 as technical manager in the commercial subsidiary of the nonprofit CiA association. He edits CANopen specifications, trains engineers in CAN technology, and represents the association in standardization bodies and on conferences. Since 2008, Zitzmann has managed the CiA seminars and CiA technical working groups.
