Renishaw recently broke ground on its new 133,000-square-foot office andĀ warehouse facility in WestĀ Dundee, Ill., about 40 miles from Chicago. The two-storyĀ facility will be located at the OakviewBusinessPark and will be the companyāsĀ North American headquarters.
The new building, slated for completion in JuneĀ 2016, will also include space for product development,Ā testing, warehousing andĀ distribution.
TheĀ facility will consolidate the companyās two existing sites, with a 47,000-square-foot area dedicated toĀ warehousing/distribution, while the 86,000-square-foot office portion provides additional space for corporate servicesĀ staff, as well asĀ demonstration, training and conference facilities. TheĀ additional space includes flexible training and demonstration areas, with anĀ openĀ two-story exhibit hall for customer tours and product demos.
U.K.-based Renishaw is an engineering technologies company, supplying products forĀ applications as diverse as jetĀ engine and wind turbine manufacture, dentistryĀ and brain surgery.Ā
