Kaman Corporation recently announced the completion of its acquisition of B.W. Rogers Company's operating assets and affiliated entities.

In 2013, the acquired operations of B.W. Rogers had approximately $100 million dollars in sales.

This acquisition will expand Kaman's capabilities in the automation and motion, fluid power and control product areas.

B.W. Rogers is a tri-motion distributor of Parker Hannifin motion and control products, among others, and operates from 21 locations and seven states in the Northeast and Midwestern parts of the United States.

Due to the acquisition, approximately 240 employees who previously worked at B.W. Rogers have moved over to Kaman.

"We remain impressed with their enthusiasm, market and product knowledge, and operational capabilities," he said.  "The B. W. Rogers acquisition provides us with growth opportunities in new geographies and the steel, life sciences, shale gas and automotive end markets."
