Advantech's SPC and TPC series of next-generation HMIs will now wear an iF label as the winner of the iF Product Design Award 2013 in the industry/skilled trade category.
The iF Product Design Award is a label given to companies that demonstate outstanding achievement in product design. Avantech's HMIs where chosen over 3,000 entries, making the win the first ever award won by the company for product design.
The HMIs have a user-friendly design, including capacitive multi-touch displays with 16:9 ratio wide screens, intelligent keys and customized user interface, according to Advantech. The design is based on the corporate vision, "Enabling an Intelligent Planet" as part of an organization evolution, marketing transformation, and steady expansion plan that began in 2010.
