Partners Honeywell and Danfoss merge VFD technology with process control systems
In a recent collaboration between Honeywell and Danfoss, cemented by their mutual desire for environmental responsibility and digitalization, the two companies united to create an approach to manufacturing that focuses on resource efficiency.
Automation World recently reported that the companies will be working to streamline variable frequency drive (VFD) integration at the control system level.
This union, according to Honeywell modular system lead Carlos Villa, would help to reduce energy consumption while elevating equipment reliability and maintenance scheduling. At the 2025 Honeywell Users Group EMEA conference in The Hague late last year, he relayed to attendees a three-stage implementation roadmap.
