NexSafe certified safety brakes carry the Intertek Functional Safety (FS) mark and comply with ISO 13849-1, Categories B through 4 and PLa through PLe. The brakes are spring-engaged and air-released with a default to lock. With smooth torque transmission, low inertia and zero backlash, they are suitable for precision holding and emergency applications. They also are Industry 4.0-compatible with three operating mode sensors for engagement or disengagement, accurate linear positioning, predictive maintenance and operational feedback. Other features include an integral clamp collar with backup keyway, multiple engagement springs and IP67 washdown protection.
