Bihl+Wiedemann's configurable ASi-5 safety module offers up to 14 safe inputs and two safe outputs, up to PLe. The safe inputs can be configured for almost any sensor, whether OSSD or floating contacts, either as standard or antivalent switches. Cyclical diagnostics mean safety diagnostics for each safe signal are included in the cyclical data and displayed comprehensively. The ASi-5 safety I/O module is designed to be a match for the ASi-5 Safety gateways and ASi-5 safety input modules. With ASi-5 Safety, many safe and standard signals can be used under one address or node number. Commissioning is designed to be easy with the compact address programming device.
