The W4F miniature photoelectric sensor line uses an ASIC platform that enables two light-intensive pin-point emitter LEDs and a diffuse LED to be operated concurrently without any appreciable heating of the sensor. The sensor can detect jet black, highly reflective, flat or transparent objects and also can provide distance information such as the height of objects and, as a result, identify process errors. The Blue Pilot operating concept combined with the innovative monitoring options make configuring and monitoring the sensor easy.
