This inductive safety sensor is equipped with two output switching signal device (OSSD) outputs. The sensors send switching signals to safety systems via their OSSD outputs. This is used to detect short circuits, overloads or cross-connections while testing the shutdown capabilities simultaneously. With SIL 2 and PLd ratings, these sensors meet stringent functional safety requirements. The wide temperature range of -25 to 70 °C and an IP67 rating make the sensor suitable for use in safety-related applications such as compactors, machine covers and monitoring of doors in safety zones.
