Linear position sensors with built-in redundancy

The BTL7-series linear position sensors with up to three independent measuring systems operating concurrently in a single housing ensures uninterrupted processing for uptime critical applications. Like all BTL7-series position sensors, this 2x/3x redundant version uses time-tested, field-proven magnetostrictive technology to provide absolute linear position feedback for industrial applications. It features either two or three independent sets of circuitry and sensing elements integrated into a single enclosure. They are designed for linear position sensing applications where uptime is extremely critical. Their built-in redundancy ensures that a single-point sensor failure does not cause expensive downtime in a critical process.
