Potable water solenoid valves have been added to the line of potable water components (valves, regulators, fittings, tubing and hoses). The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) has certified these NS series valves (from GC Valves). Stainless steel or thermoplastic bodies and synthetic seating and sealing materials makes NS series valves suitable for use with a variety of liquids, oils and gases. Valve operation is normally closed (NC) and open when electrically energized. The valves can be mounted in any position, and a spring-loaded plunger assures positive shutoff. Three types of two-port (two-way), two-position valves are available.
