The NT Ethernet series features i2o peer-to-peer and multicast technology, providing an easy way to link inputs to outputs without a PLC, PC or master CPU. The I/O modules have a built-in Web server for convenient configuration without installing any software. Using i2o, node to node eliminates the need for a host or master controller. It is compatible with other Ethernet I/O series and enables peer-to-peer setup of multiple or sequential channels. Multicast technology features include one-to-many group messaging with no host or master controller required, multicast listening (receive from target IP address) and multicast sending (transmit to target IP address).
