Altech’s ATEX-IECEx-approved terminal blocks are designed for greater safety and reliability in explosive environments. The ATEX-IECEx Directive considers both electrical sources of explosion and potentially explosive concentrations of gas, vapor, mist and dust in the air. Altech’s terminal blocks are designed for a maximum service termperature of 110 °C with an ambient temperature range of -60 °C to +66 °C. Wire sizes range from 24 AWG up to 250 kcmil. The terminal block technologies include tool-less connection, stainless steel push-in spring, universal push-in jumper system, compact design, strong clamping system and snap-on ground blocks.
