These 3.0 high-flex cables are made for applications in which ordinary USB cables would fail. They feature a continuous motion thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) cable that allows the assembly to be flexed up to one million times without performance degradation. The cable assemblies feature UL-recognized jackets and 22 AWG power conductors; optional machine vision thumbscrews on the Micro-B connectors for secure, locked-down connections; and a foil plus braid shield, which provides maximum protection against EMI/RFI. The cables are well-suited for automation and factory use and are available off the shelf in standard lengths of 1, 2 and 3 m.
