Premier Press Manufacturer Celebrates Year of Impressive Growth

Premier press manufacturer, OEM Press Systems, is celebrating a year of impressive growth, according to PCB007, and I-Connect007 publication.

OEM Press Systems is currently developing a premier press line with next-generation electrical controls and HMI interface. The company's computer control interface, "Advatage" will soon be release on a vacuum press system.

The "OEM Advantage – Next Generation" HMI is designed with a new touchscreen interface that features enhanced recipe screens and recipe manager, enhanced data collection. Engineers will now be able to determine what data should be collected and saved during a cycle, and improve operator alarm, warning and status messaging to users via a message center.

Additional, optional features include interfacing to a SQL database, or MS Access or Excel, and ERP/MES systems, pulling recipes from a client server based on barcode scanner input and accessing real-time information on alarms, process values and other events via e-mail to desktop computers, email-enabled phone or other enabled devices.

"All of the new features and capabilities are designed with the process engineer in mind, we want to facilitate the collection of valuable pertinent data that helps the engineer do his job," said Dale Davis, director of operations for OEM Press Systems.
