Ondex Automation acquired Vision and Control Systems (VCS), a factory-automation system integrator specializing in machine vision. This is Ondex’s fourth acquisition since April 2024, designed to strengthen its expertise in machine vision, barcode reading, robotic solutions, motion control and PLC programming. Ondex acquired NeoMatrix in the spring.
Founded in 2011 with locations in Springfield, New Jersey, and Greenville, South Carolina, VCS is known for delivering integrated machine vision that combines mechanical, electrical and software. The company’s systems are designed to solve complex automation challenges for organizations across medical devices, life sciences, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, logistics, and general industrial markets. VCS is a Cognex Partner System Integrator and a Cognex Logistics Partner Integrator.
