The Cincoze external EMC power protection module (PPM) is designed for protection against the electromagnetic noise common in industrial environments. The PPM uses a flexible external architecture. Beyond strengthening EMC protection, it can be purchased as needed and integrated with existing Cincoze industrial computers, allowing users to upgrade their protection at any time to suit the application environment and system configuration. The PPM-I360 (360 W) and PPM-I180 (180 W) accommodate different computer power consumption levels and configurations. When paired with the PPM, Cincoze industrial computers are designed to suppress or filter out electrical fast transient (EFT) transient interference at the power input to meet the industrial environment EMC standard (EN/IEC 61000-6-2/ 61000-6-4) test requirements. The PPM is an optional external design that customers can add based on their site environment and project requirements, eliminating the need to pre-configure additional EMC protection at the time of initial purchase. For installation, a slide-rail design allows the PPM to be secured and connected to the computer. The PPM-I180 suits the entry-level to mid-range performance series of rugged embedded computers (DA/DC/DI Series), while the PPM-I360 pairs with high-performance rugged embedded computers (DV/DX/DS Series) and the MXM GPU computer (GM series).
