HOJ Innovations opens control panel shop with PC-based controls

Warehouse-management provider expands capabilities HOJ to complete control panel manufacturing steps in-house
Jan. 30, 2026

HOJ Innovations has opened a control panel shop in Salt Lake City featuring PC-based controls. The shop enables the company to engineer and manufacture control panels under one facility, adding to its portfolio of material handling offerings.

“The addition of our control panel shop supports our commitment to complete, streamlined warehouse solutions,” said HOJ Innovations CEO Tim Hoj. “PC-based controls facilitate seamless integration of warehouse operations with business operations, enhanced security and efficient communication with external systems. We can now support customers from initial design to final implementation as a single-source provider.”

PC-based control panels allow for incorporation with a warehouse management system (WMS), utilizing application programming interfaces (APIs) developed from the WMS provider to integrate with the control panels. PC systems can be added to existing company security networks rather than operating as isolated equipment.

HOJ Innovations has more than 60 years of experience in warehouse inventory management. Started in 1964 as a one-man operation by Henning Hoj as HOJ Engineering and Sales, it has with more than 200 employees with offices in Utah and Idaho. Henning’s two sons, Peter and Tim, continue his legacy, and they indicate that HOJ has sold, installed and serviced more than 100,000 projects nationally and internationally.
