E3AS series reflective-type photoelectric sensors use a time-of-flight (TOF) detection method to maintain stable detection without being influenced by varying sensing distances, colors, materials or surfaces. They have a sensing distance of 1,500 mm, and the full sensing range of 50 to 1,500 mm eliminates the need for different sensors for each application. The sensors also have an antifouling coating on the sensing surface to reduce false detection and minimize maintenance needs in environments with oil, dust or steam.
